Funnyman Mel Brooks directed this spoof of Star Wars in which space mercenary Captain Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) battles the diabolical Dark Helmut (Rick Moranis). (“I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate!”) John Candy plays half man, half dog Barf (“I am my own best friend!”) With Joan Rivers as the droid Dot Matrix and Mel Brooks as the Yiddish-speaking Yogurt.
